Canyoning in Leirdalen, Jostedalen

Canyoning or canyoneering, is a mix of different techniqes to be able to move in a canyon. Join the local guides in Leirdalen Bre og Juv, on an unforgettable tour. You will walk in landscape earlier covered by the big and strong river “Leirdøla" in Sogn, Norway.

While you are walking alongside the river, climbing nature’s own bridges, around stone pots in different shapes and sizes, and over and under huge rocks, the sound of the waterfalls will follow you all the way.

The terrain is rough. You need to bring good walking boots! The walk will take 3-4 hours. There will be a break halfway down the canyon, so please bring lunch. Dry clothing might be useful. The landscape requires you to go under and over huge rocks, and some basic climbing, consider your physical condition.
