Biking on the romantic Road.

Along the seaside of Lustrafjord - from Kinsedalen to Skjolden - there is a small well-surfaced road which is the perfect spot for a relaxed biketrip along the innermost part of the second longest fjord in the world.

Eplet has a garage with 20 well-used mountainbikes free to use fro all guests. A biketrip on the romantic road has gotten the most popular daytrip for guests staying at Eplet. You bring the bikes on the ferry to Urnes, go 13 km to the enormous spectacular Feigumsfossen waterfall, hike up to a viewpoint and have a break there. On the way back you visit Munthehuset before you end up at Unesco Urnes stave church. Remember to have some good coffee in the cafeteria and visit the deer farm. In nice weather this day is just pure romantic. And this is how it looks:

Feigumsfossen is with 218 meters fall the second highest free falling waterfall in Norway. It sounds like an earthquake and if you get closer than this picture you are guaranteed a cold shower.
