Apple picking. It all takes place in October after we close the hostel. It is a fantastic job for some weeks to pick, shake trees, fill bags and take them home to make the worlds best apple juice. 

 

Most of the apples we pick on a roadless farm along the Lustrafjord. It is one of the most beautiful places I know. A few hundred meters from the farm there is a seal colony that you can visit by kayak seal safari.

The bags with apples are brought home with a small boat. Loaded to the rim. If you think this sounds like a nice way of living, just drop me an e-mail. Come and stay for october.

We mix three different apples together to make the special Eplet apple juice brand. All bad apples are taken away, and the boxes are taken down to the basement where we do the apple juice pressing
