Sure. A
car gives you the freedom to go wherever you want. Well, as long as there is a
road. You have to go back to the same place to get the car if you go on a hike.
You need gasoline. You dont meet other travellers. But, a car is a practical
thing. For
those arriving Eplet with a private car;
Solvorn is 18 km from Sogndal on the road 55 towards Sognefjellet, Lom. The
village has only 200 habitants and the hostel is well indicated and impossible
not to find. Our local garage just 4 km from Eplet offers car rental for only 500 NOK pro day. If you rent a car, just check that it is big enough. We have free parking down in the garden. Which means that the area around the house and the campsite are free of cars.
