Jostedal - Åndalsnes expedition September 2010
A great mountain hike.

Day 1. Marianne is checking the map at Styggevatnet, Jostedal. The glacier
behind is where the Ice Troll glacier walk takes place. |

Day 2. Crossing the west-east waterdevide for the first time on the trip. It
is already some snow. |
 |

Day 3. More snow. This stage took ages... |
 |

Day 4. Skridulaupbu is the smallest of all DNT huts with some 20 visitors
each year. There is no real gaz, but a small gaz burner is perfect enough
after another long day. |
 |
|
Day 5. On the way to Tafjordfjellene. Nice stretch for a educated geologist.
|

|
Day 6. And way more snow! Above 1500 meters got half a meter of fresh snow
during this week. A week earlier would have been grass and sunshine. |

Day 7. But down in the valleys it is still autumn.
|

Day 8. Some got a bit crazy after a week of bad weather in the mountains. |
 |
|
Day 9. But then the sun finally came.
|
 |
|
Day 10. Trollstigen the hard way. The last day we had to walk on the road.
|
 |
|
Day 11. Beautfiul weather, nice view, sweet cake, an because of an yearly
autumn market a small orchestra was playing for us. Expedition succesded.
