Day 1.
Bicycle on the romantic road.
09:30 Borrow
Bikes in the garage at Eplet. Bring food
and water.
10:00 Ferry from Solvorn to
Urnes. 30 NOK.
Takes 15 min.
10:15 Bicycle direction north along the romantic road
7 km. Munthehuset on the right
side. Information board.
8 km. Vetle-Kroken ecological
farm.
8 km. Minishop with homemade juice
& jam
10 km.
Dark tunnel. Push your bike on the road outside tunnel.
11:30 Arriving at Feigumsfossen Waterfall. Hike up the marked path.
12:00 Lunch at the viewpoint with great view. Hike down again.
13:00 Bicycle back direction Solvorn.
14:00 Arriving at Urnes. Push your bike up to Urnes Stave Church.
Visiting the Stave Church Unesco
site. 90 NOK. Visit deer farm.
Eat Ice Cream and cakes in the
cafe at the farm. Roll down hill.
16:30 Ferry from Urnes to Solvorn. 30 NOK. Takes 15 min.
17:00 Walk around in the village of Solvorn with all its cultural history.
19:00 Eat dinner at Linahagen kafe.
21:00 Feeding the sheep at
Eplet
Day 2. The
arctic experience.
09:05 Glacier
Bus from Solvorn to Glacier Center. Bring food & water.
10:00 Arriving at Glacier Center, Jostedal. Short look at Nigardsbreen
Ice Lake Kayak Paddling,
Icetroll Styggevatnet. 7-8
hours. 890 NOK.
This is a truely unique
experience that combines Paddling between icebergs
with a glacier and mountain
walk. Still available for everybody.
17:00 Glacier Bus from Glacier Center to Solvorn.
18:15 Arriving in Solvorn.
19:00 Barbecue at Eplet. Just ask the staff for coal for the grill.
20:00 Play crocket Golf.
Day 3.
Molden, The great mountain direct from Eplet.
09:00 Borrow
bikes at Eplet. Bike or push to road 51, turn right.
9 km. Turn right towards
Mollandsmarki, gravel road, climb
12 km. Molden parking. Hide the
bikes. Mountainhike to Molden.
After 1 hr walk; Have a
lunch at Svarthilleren mountain pasture. After 2 hr walk;
Molden Viewpoint. The head
of the Sognefjord under you. Walk down again.
Takes 1,5 hr. Continue bike
on the gravel road
18 km. Road ends in a fence. Cross
the farm to get a view of Solvorn.
Push the bike down a
tractor road and roll down to Hafslo.
20 km. Turn left on
road 51 and roll
down to Solvorn.
17:00 Back at Eplet
19:00 Eat dinner at Linahagen Kafe.
21:00 Lay down in a hummock
at Eplet and rest out.
Day 4.
Have a swim in the world second longest fjord.
09:00 Have a
shorter hike up to Setålen mountain pasture in Solvorn valley. Walk down to the
beach and continue along the fjordside. You will be alone!
Have a swim in the fjord. You may be surprised that is not as freezing cold as
you imagine. Rest out.
13:00 Eat lunch at Linahagen café.
Play crocket golf in the garden at Eplet, read a book or get some new friends.
19.00 Barbecue at Eplet
20.00 Play the final round with crocket golf.
Day 5. The
fjord Cruise. How to leave Eplet the right way.
06:40 Have a
taxi to Sogndal. Approx. 400 NOK
07:10 Expressboat to Bergen. Arriving 11:40. 540 NOK.

08:35 Bus to
Sogndal and further to Kaupanger (not in weekends)
09:30 Ferry from Kaupanger to Gudvangen.
Nærøyfjord
13:50 Bus from Gudvangen to
Flåm. Flåm railway. Train to Bergen or Oslo
